Design and Display
At first glance, you can easily differentiate between the TECNO SPARK 6 and Infinix Hot 10. While SPARK 6 sports a circular-shaped camera module, unlike its predecessors, you can easily mistake the rectangular-shaped camera module on the Infinix Hot 10 for just another Infinix phone - in the likes of Zero 8, Hot 9 and more. In terms of dimensions, you can't notice the difference between the two devices easily; so, you can end up with any of them without worries.
Up from the front, both devices sport large screens. Coming around the sub-7" display size, you might not want to go for both if you're a compact phone lover; but you'll enjoy the large display for an immersive viewing experience.
Both devices come with the modern punch-hole camera cutout for the display, which makes them look less intrusive while viewing contents.
Performance
Both the TECNO SPARK 6 and Infinix Hot 10 rocks a MediaTek Helio G70 processor, which show up better in gaming, camera, and overall performance. Where the TECNO SPARK 6 takes edge here is its storage and RAM options. While Hot 10 comes in just 3GB RAM plus 64GB storage option, you can choose from 3GB/4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage on the SPARK 6. In which you choose to go for, however, you can expand them up to 512GB with a micro SD card.
Software
Both devices ships out with Android 10 with HiOS 7.0 and XOS 7.0 respectively. One thing you'd notice on your first boot of these devices is the overhauled UI design. Both XOS (Infinix) and HiOS (TECNO) went a long way to make the UI more one-hand friendly and futuristic.
In addition to the existing heavy features on these skins, they come with a few more to further make your life better. Speak of the new Auto Ear Pickup feature (dubbed as "Raise to Ear" on XOS), you can now pick-up incoming calls just by raising the phone to your ear. Cool, right?
Meanwhile, Infinix takes it up a bit with DTS audio processing technology on the Infinix Hot 10. DTS allows you to tweak your audio output for a better listening experience. It also comes with Music Party Mode, which allows you to connect your phone with other Infinix phones with Music Party Mode for a karaoke music playback. TECNO SPARK 6, on the other hand, comes with Bluetooth Share, allowing you to connect and play music on multiple TECNO phones. You can start a party too.
Cameras
Both phones have a quad-camera setup with identical lenses. So, it comes down to software processing and personal preferences when choosing between them. They both cover the standard 16MP wide camera, 2MP macro camera, 2MP depth sensor, and AI lens.
They both take nice, good-looking, and usable shots and thank to the Helio G70 processor for better image processing, they both offer different shooting modes from Macro to Bokeh/Portrait, HDR, Beauty, Panorama, and more.
Shooting videos look good on them too with the SPARK 6 taking edge with its capability to shoot 1440p@30fps on the back camera. Both phones can take up to 1080p@30fps videos with the 8MP front camera.
One thing to note here is that both XOS and HiOS now have camera apps that consider your convenience. With version 7 of the two skins, you can now go around snapping with just one hand; the camera interface has been adjusted for more one-hand usability.
Battery Life
The 5,200mAh battery on the Hot 10 is slightly larger than the 5,000mAh battery on SPARK 6. But straight up, I'd rather pick the 18W Fast Charging on the SPARK 6 over a 200mAh battery bump on the Hot 10. Both devices would keep you on the screen for an entire day without reaching out to the charger, however. So, you can go ahead and charge the Infinix Hot 10 overnight and use it for the entire day without minding its old 10W charger.
