Following the launch of the Infinix Hot 9 Play, Infinix has just launched a brand-new Infinix Hot 10 Play featuring a more improved system and battery performance. Infinix Hot 10 Play features the MediaTek Helio G25 processor, a 6000mAh battery enhanced by Power Marathon Tech, a 6.82 Video-Playing display, a beautiful body design, and many other features we'll get to in a bit. Also, Infinix Hot 10 Play runs on the new XOS version 7.0 based on Android 10 Go. Below is our review of the Infinix Hot 10 Play, showing its features.
DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The Infinix Hot 10 Play has that beautiful back design with textures that looks like a plumber work or just say pipeline. And you've got up to four colour options to choose here. We have the Aegean Blue, Morandi Green, Obsidian Black, and 7° Purple colours, all of which showcases the beautiful design. On its back is a rectangular shaped camera module with its curves matching the roundness of the rear cover. There's also a fingerprint sensor close to the camera module, which is more responsive compared to its predecessor.
Talking of display, Infinix Hot 10 Play possesses a 6.82" display which Infinix is calling a "Video Playing Display", and that best describes the main use of the phone. With an aspect ratio of 20.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.66%, it makes perfect for better one-hand operations and immersive visual experience. Be it YouTube or your normal video player, this device is always ready for unlimited fun. And you can now enjoy some smooth gameplay on the large screen. Thanks to the improved performance with the Helio G25 processor.
PERFORMANCE & STORAGE
Looks like Infinix is finally getting on the "Helio G-series" train. Starting from the Infinix Note 7, Infinix has opted for a more powerful processor compared to the ones they're used to.
Powering the Infinix Hot 10 Play is the MediaTek Helio G25 Octa-core processor, which is a more improved processor compared to the Helio A25 processor used on the Hot 9 Play. It has a better GPU and CPU performance, and it has a Hyper Engine - a technology that helps reduce game lags effectively by switching between networks to give you the ultimate gaming experience.
The Infinix Hot 10 Play has 2GB of RAM and a 32GB of internal storage, which is enough to keep some of your apps in the background and give you more room for storing your stuff. BATTERY
Just like its predecessor, Infinix Hot 10 Play packs a 6000mAh super battery. That's quite large at its price range. No wonder it has the "Play" tag in its name. Talking of the cameras, Infinix has you in mind. You've got a 13MP dual rear camera plus 8MP front camera here. They're both boosted by a powerful AI algorithm. You can shoot clear Portrait/Bokeh pictures both on the front and rear cameras of this device. It even gets clearer and nice edge detection while using the 13MP rear camera, thanks to the dedicated 2MP depth sensor lens. The Hot 10 Play also has a redefined AI Beauty Mode which uses the AI algorithm to detect your skin colour and give you the perfect beauty look. Talk of the camera interface, XOS 7.0 has been improved for better one-hand usability. Meaning you can operate all the features on the camera interface with just one hand.
SOFTWARE
Infinix Hot 10 Play runs on the improved XOS 7.0 based on Android 10 (Go Edition). The main theme of XOS 7.0 is to bring to its users' convenience. With the redesigned UI, Infinix focused majorly on making the UI fully usable in one-handed mode by moving necessary system features to the bottom of the screen and adding more whitespace above the screen. All the main Android 10 features like dark mode, gesture navigations, etc., are present on this device.
