Sometimes, you may need to share the content of your phone's screen with colleagues, business partners, friends, or family. With your itel smartphone, you can take a screenshot on itel phone conveniently in various ways.

A screenshot captures or records what's on your smartphone's screen. It's also called screengrab or screen capture. While some third-party apps can help you perform this task, itel phones — and generally smartphones that run Android 8.1 OS — have the inbuilt-in screenshot feature.

Thus, you won't need to install any app to record and share your screen's content. You can take screenshots on itel mobile device using the key combination, volume down, and power buttons. There are other methods as well. Let's learn more!

There are three methods to get screenshots on your itel smartphone

Using Quick Notification Settings

The Quick Settings feature is a quick way to take a screenshot on itel mobile phone. The required steps are laid out as follows:

  • Swipe down the Home screen to access Quick Settings
  • Navigate to the left to access the second page, where you'll locate the Screenshot icon
  • Tap on the icon to capture what's on your itel phone's screen instantly

The snapped image will now be saved on your device. We have explained how to get your screenshots below.

Using Key Combination

This procedure is also fast and easy to carry out:

  • On your itel phone, open the screen you'd like to capture (such as a webpage, app, and others)
  • Press and hold the Volume down & Power buttons simultaneously for a couple of seconds
  • The device's screen will give a flash and produce the shutter sound

Using Google Home app

Parts of itel phones are equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) to make them more intuitive and user-friendly. Google Assistant is one of the myriads of AI applications on mobile and makes it convenient to perform various tasks with voice command assistants.

Some of the things you can do with this virtual assistant include setting music alarms, playing online games, looking up TV schedules, opening WhatsApp,  and many others. You can equally capture a screenshot of your device’s screen using Google Assistant, but you have to first make sure the Assistant is enabled on your itel smartphone.

Here's how to get started:

  • Hold the Home button to access Google Assistant's setup menu
  • Use the instructions given on the screen to train the Assistant to identify your voice
  • Having done that, you can now start using Google Assistant
  • Invoke the Assistant by saying "Ok, Google."
  • Alternatively, you can do so by long-pressing the Home button
  • Once it shows up, give your command: "Take a screenshot."

That's all!

How to take a scrolling screenshot on itel mobile

If you used any of the methods highlighted above, you would have noticed that the screenshot only captured what's active on your screen. What if you have to snap a long conversation, multiple posts in a social feed, or a long webpage?

You may have to perform the whole procedure repeatedly many times. That will be quite tedious.

But there's an easy way out: Use scrolling screenshots. Taking a scrolling screenshot on your itel phone means that you won't have to face the hassle of meticulously stitching different screenshots together.

Please, follow the steps we outlined below to find the Scroll shot option on your itel smartphone:

  • Take your screenshot using any of the methods above
  • Below the screenshot preview, you would find a toolbar
  • Press Scroll shot
  • Scroll up on the page and capture scroll shots
  • When you're done, tap Save

Note: This solution may only work on parts of itel phone models.

How to find screenshot images on your itel phone

After taking a screenshot, you can edit it before sharing it with others or saving it on your mobile device. You can also share the captured images on social media apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, upload them to Google Photos, or send the screenshots as text on WhatsApp.

To access your screenshot images, go to Gallery and open Albums. In that folder, you'll see an album titled Screenshots. All the screenshots captured on your Android phone are saved here.
