How To Transfer Files From Infinix phone To PC

Transfer Using A USB Cable

Transferring files using the USB cable is one of the most popular methods of file transfer. It is also one of the easiest solutions. Here is how to transfer files from Infinix phone to PC with a USB cable

  1. Connect the USB cable to the phone and connect the other end to the USB port on your personal computer.
  2. On the notification bar of your Infinix device, you will see a prompt that says, ‘Android system. Tap for more options.’
  3. Tap the notification, and a drop-down list shows and then tap on ‘Use USB for file transfer’.
  4. Let us assume you are looking to transfer pictures taken with your camera to your computer. Double click on SD card/internal storage. 
  5. Click on DCIM.
  6. If you wish to transfer only selected pictures from your camera, open the camera folder by double-clicking it.
  7. Click, drag, and drop each picture from the camera folder to the picture folder on your computer.

Transfer Using ES File Manager

ES file manager is another quick way to transfer files from your Infinix phone to your personal computer. It is an android app that is quite useful. If you do not have the ES file manager, you can quickly download it from Google Play Store and try this.

  1. Launch the ES file manager on your Infinix and allow storage access.
  2. Click the three lines on the top left side. Then choose 'network' from the drop-down list and then tap on ' LAN'
  3. The ES file manager will start looking for any open network available. 
  4. After the scanning, the manager will show all the devices that it has found.
  5. Choose the name of your computer so that it can connect to your Infinix device. 
  6. Key in the login details of your computer including the password and username.
  7. On your personal computer, you can open folders where you stored the files you need. Select them, copy them. 

Note: The mobile phone and your windows PC need to be connected under the same WiFi network

Transfer Using the SD Card Reader

 If you want to transfer files saved on the Infinix SD card to the pc, you need a microSD card reader. You have to remove the SD card from your phone and then slot it into the card reader and access the files on the SD card via the reader. Then follow the steps below.

  1. Connect the card reader to your personal computer. 
  2. Go to the file icon at the bar under your computer screen and click it.
  3. Double click the reader so you can access all the folders and files on the SD card.
  4. Click on any of the files or folders you want to transfer from your SD card to the computer. Copy them from the SD card and paste them into the computer’s folders.
  5. Once the transfer is complete, use the safe eject option. This option is below your screen on the right. 

Using Bluetooth (To Windows 10 PC)

If you use a computer with Bluetooth, especially if it is a windows 10 computer, you can move files via Bluetooth. Here is how to do so.

  1. Click the start button on your pc.
  2. Click on settings and then choose Bluetooth and other devices.
  3. Turn Bluetooth on and add Bluetooth or other devices.
  4. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and make sure your device is discoverable.
  5. Pair your Infinix with the PC. 
  6. Go to the file you want to share.
